The who, what, when, where, why & how

Blue Tag Equipment is an expression of the community of outdoor adventurers. Whether hanging from a rope, lost on two wheels or hours from the nearest trailhead, we all love and share that same thing: the bliss of just being out there.

Why Blue Tag Equipment?

Locally made

All Blue Tag Equipment is made in the foothills of Gariwerd - The Grampians, in Australia

Whether it's with a pair of scissors, a ruler, a hotknife or the sewing machine, every creation is pieced together by hand.

The ethical choice

Blue Tag Equipment strives to use Australian Made materials, and to source from Australian stockists, supporting local industry and minimising the distance goods travel.

Being a small business, we are also able to use some rescued materials and deadstock from larger enterprises, which would otherwise sit around collecting dust until meeting its fate in landfill.

No matter what it's made from, every piece is made with attention to detail, and is made to last.

Durability

Through years of experience, I have come to learn what works and what doesn't.

We tend to spend a lot of our time outside, under the harsh sun or beating rain, in the dirt, or on the side of a cliff... Not the most forgiving environments!

With Blue Tag Equipment, you know you're getting durability, reliability, longevity, and a comprehensive guarantee & repair service.

Blue Tag Equipment is the culmination of almost a decade of regularly bike touring, seven years of climbing, and six years of sewing. Sewing quickly became a consuming hobby, with many early mornings spent measuring & cutting, and many late nights lost to the rhythm of the needle and the mantra "just 15 more minutes..."  As I write this now, I realise not so much has changed, actually!

Thank you to everyone who makes up the wonderful community of outdoor adventures, and to everyone who has supported me on this journey.
